Gather Documents for Fall Shred Event

Better Business Bureau is bringing free shredding services to Eagle River, Southwest Portland and DuPont on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011. BBB's goal is to help consumers securely shred personal documents to prevent identity theft.

Drive up and drop off up to three bags or boxes of unwanted documents per person. No cardboard or three-ring binders please. Items will be securely shredded on-the-spot for free.

BBB will also be collecting old cell phones for Verizon’s HopeLine. Phones will be wiped of information and then donated to domestic violence victims or securely recycled by HopeLine.
